For effective quality control and quality management, compliance with ISO 9001 is essential. Likewise, it is equally important for testing and calibration laboratories to have a comprehensive understanding of ISO/IEC 17025, which specifies the general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories.

We are grateful to the experts from the Nepal Bureau of Standards & Metrology (NBSM) for visiting the CELAN office and sharing their valuable knowledge and insights with us on these important quality standards.

Such knowledge-sharing initiatives will certainly contribute to strengthening our professional capacity and promoting a culture of quality, competence, and continuous improvement in Nepal’s civil engineering laboratory sector.
